How to clean the car from the inside
Basically, you should follow these 8 steps every two weeks:
- Collect everything that is not part of the car: snacks packaging, pamphlets we receive at traffic lights, jackets, child seats etc.
- Remove (if possible) the rugs and wash them outside: on the plastic rugs, use soap and water, and let them dry. In the case of fabric, do not wet it completely - remove the dust with a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner, wipe with a sponge slightly moistened with water and neutral detergent, and finish with a damp cloth.
- Clean the car roof: the ideal is to start from the top down, just as it is done on the outside of the vehicle. Wipe the ceiling with a dry cloth to remove all dust and then the sponge moistened with water and neutral detergent. Finish with a cloth moistened with water.
- Clean the car seats: if they are upholstered, first vacuum them or remove the dust with a dry cloth. Never spill water directly, as this can promote mold. For leather seats, use only mild soap and water on a cloth. We strongly recommend that you also moisturize them frequently (with specific products!).
- Clean the surfaces: clean the panel, steering wheel, gearbox and doors must follow the upholstery rule. Take extra care in electrical areas: liquids cannot enter the cracks. And be careful also with lint-free cloths, give preference to flannels.
- Clean the windows with a dry, spray- dried cloth: spray a glass cleaner and dry with a cloth. These specific products are better, as they dry quickly and still shine.
- Finish with a vacuum cleaner on the floor: if your equipment has accessories to reach the most difficult corners, even better!
- Let it dry: for approximately two hours, leave your car with the doors and windows open. So, in addition to being clean, it will smell.
